AppDynamics PAID internship for DevOps Intern Engineer. 8-12 week assignment with hourly pay and sign on bonus.

Description

This is a 8-12 week PAID internship and chance to get your foot in the door to work on Infrastructure as Code and learn the ways of a DevOps engineer. Interns are sometimes given additional opportunities, and some are hired full time upon graduation. Pay is per hour along with a sign on bonus (amounts change per region of the United States).

Responsibilities

The fun part. You will be writing Infrastructure as Code to deploy AWS resources to handle JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence authentication using Atlassian's Crowd service. This person will utilize Bitbucket for code management and pull requests, Terraform for resources, helm charts and Kubernetes for deployment. This person will help to not only stand up the code, but help troubleshoot and connect all the pieces together. If really successful, other projects/opportunities may present themselves.

Requirements

A willingness to learn. Perfect person will have at least tinkered on the side with AWS resources, know the CI/CD process, be inquisitive and want to immersive themselves in learning. Code NES roms for fun? Stuck in a job as a painter? This might be the break you are looking for. Education + Experience

Education not required. This role will take anyone looking to gain experience / get a break into the DevOps world all the way to someone currently attending a college or university going after a degree.

Interview Process

You will interview (remotely) using WebEx to the hiring manager and team, and vetted by Cisco intern staff.
