Build scalable, efficient code to support the mission of Zander Insurance – We Protect Families. Our existing development team is growing and we’re looking for a collaborative, experienced front-end developer who loves great UI-driven experiences in responsive web development. Our department is highly collaborative, communicative and focused on balancing a fun but productive atmosphere. We are results-focused and work virtually part-time.


  • Maintain and update new, corporate website (HTML/SCSS, JS, ReactJS)
  • Build UI designs into SEO-friendly, well-structured and performant web experiences
  • Engage in discussion and assisted management of a front-end workflow and toolset (Atomic Design in React for example)
  • Lover of Design and experience in tools including:
  • Photoshop
  • Sketch
  • Illustrator
  • Monitor and stay up to date on web trends and tools
  • Evaluate code to ensure that it is secured, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems


  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent expertise
  • 3 years of experience
  • Front-End: HTML/CSS, Javascript, JQuery
  • Hungry to learn and advancing skills at a fast pace. Full-stack aspirations and experience
  • Eye for detail – perfectionist balanced with pragmaticism (shipping > not shipping)
  • 3 years of customer service experience in an office setting
  • Managing multiple projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent analytical skills
  • Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented and deadline-oriented environment
