Description

Build scalable, efficient code to support the mission of Zander Insurance – We Protect Families. Our existing development team is growing and we’re looking for a collaborative, experienced developer who excels in smart and simple solutions to complex business problems. Our development department believes in creating great solutions to business problems. We are highly collaborative, communicative and focused on balancing a fun but effective atmosphere. We are results-focused and work virtually part-time.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update new, corporate website (Node, React, Next, Redux)
  • Contribute to the development and management of various APIs
  • Work with the Zander Development team to engineer scalable, new pieces of technology that drive the business’ operations and revenue
  • Collaborate with the key stakeholders and AVP of Experience to execute an overarching technological strategy which improves and optimizes infrastructure
  • Identify and write tests to monitor critical business functions and to reduce technical failures or errors
  • Evaluate code to ensure that it is secured, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent expertise.
  • Node, React, Next, Redux, PHP (C# a plus but not required)
  • Front-End: HTML/CSS, Javascript, JQuery
  • DB: MySQL, MS SQLServer
