  • Write clean, well-tested code applying consistent process and coding best practices
  • Actively participate in code reviews for both the frontend and backend codebase
  • Help company establish best practices for user and customer experience
  • Oversee and manage product development processes for internal development team and external contractors

Experience

  • Mid-level+ experience in React.js, redux, Javascript, HTML5, CSS
    • Some experience in Python is preferable
  • Located in or around Nashville, TN
    • We are flexible for partial remote work

Attributes

  • Communicator: You listen well and communicate clearly. You ask good questions to help frame problems.
  • Independent: You are a self-motivated, team player. You are resourceful and creative in solving problems. You say what you’ll do, and do what you say.
  • Owner: You take ownership over your work and seek out additional ways to contribute to company goals.
  • Manager: You work to build consensus but can drive hard decisions when you have to. You can handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Learner: You seek out new ideas from a diversity of sources. You can acknowledge ignorance and always assume there is more to learn.

Interview Process

The most important qualification will be fit with our team. We're a small team, so we hope to have you meet everyone and have them get to know you. We'll use references, interviews with our engineers and/or code challenges, depending on the circumstances, to assess technical acumen.
